I liked the appearance of the lobby, the number of staff and their consistant politeness. The only objection is that expedia had said that all charges were included in their pricing and I was charged an extra $100 upon leaving as a standard Chicago fee. This is not correct name but the fee did not apply to any service used or contracted for, any purchase made and was not explained at check-in but was withheld on credit card. This fee was not included by hotel on expedia when they showed all charges.

The hotel was nice. I had tv issues the entire time I was there. They came and attempted to fix it. We were able to get some of the channels working, but not the menu. The beds were just okay, but the view was amazing. I, also, had issues with cell service being slow/limited. Not a hotel issue, but something I wanted to note.

Great location for brief 3 night stay. Riverfront walk and other tourist attractions and excellent restaurants nearby. Enjoyed the architecture of the hotel and Chicago’s urban design. Transit was convenient and nearby as well.

I have booked a specific room type and they couldn't provide to me at check in. And they are charging about $30 (tax included) for internet access and the charge is compulsory. That's ridiculous to me.

this hotel is GORGEOUS!!! we stayed for the River turning green event and also had a river view. Very clean hotel. Beautiful panoramic views from our hotel room. Definitely would recommend anyone that wants to splurge a little to get this hotel. It's absolutely stunning!

The room was extremely hot. Took 3 days for it to get fixed to something tolerable, and they gave me a big box fan…like how about just fix the issue. There is no breakfast unless you’re going to pay 15 dollars for oatmeal in a cup. There is in room service, with nothing being less then 25-30 dollars a piece. Even for the appetizers. You also get charged a daily “urban experience fee” and “urban tax fee” when you check out. Not sure what I am experiencing… for 30 dollars a day. Would have rather they have just added that to the charge when we booked. I was there for a conference, at least the conference had free water…that was pretty cool. If you have the option to stay somewhere else…I probably would. But hey they have a nice gym…and free apples in the gym so that was cool.

This is a very average hotel, which isn't a bad thing but it isn't a great thing either. The staff at the front desk seemed distracted in all three interactions I had with them - perhaps short staffed? A-plus for the water pressure in the shower, but the door didn't close entirely which resulted in lots of water on the bathroom floor. $10 for boxed water in the room - hard pass. Would stay again if everything in the area was booked, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

I don’t like how they charge you “urban experience fee”- including shoe shine, complimentary coffee between 5a-6a (who is awake at 5😒). High speed internet. I didn’t need internet. I have my phone data. You didn’t have a choice they just charge you 25 dollars a night! Very unprofessional
