"Idyllic and very quiet, perfect for couples retreat. Staff is friendly and engaging. We had a really good time there just lounging by the pool and watching Ping river during golden hour. "
"Nice mid range hotel. Condition moderate in some areas but generally ok. Rooms are a bit small as they have a small self contained kitchen. Breakfast was ok."
"This was my first trip to Thailand and the Kiree Thara Boutique Resort was the perfect place to land. It is situated in peaceful surroundings, the gardens are calming and beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, the staff were generous and hospitable. It’s a short ride from the city (easily accessible via the Grab app) and far away enough to experience the tranquility of the hills in Chiang Mai. Great food and service. I highly recommend staying here. "
"Perfect for my stay. Quiet. Please note that city Center is about 15 mins drive away. Nearby you can find a supermarket, 7/11 and some other eateries and laundry services "
"Very spacious room, with great air conditioning and great smelling bathroom amenities. And great staff!
The bathroom needs a little repair toilet seat loose, old floor nozzle."
"Location was very quiet and nice jungle feel. Good access to the 50m pool. The shower situation could have been better but it was good value for the price"
"Staff was friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a medium sized private balcony. Location was convenient for my needs at the time (next to a friend's place). On a major roadway but outside of main town. Building showed some signs of wear (like cracked tiles and worn corners), but nothing that mattered. Everything worked, including the wifi, cable TV, hot shower/bathtub."
"Rooms were big and spacious. Beds hard but not too uncomfortable to sleep. The pool was clean and a good temperature. Rooms are tired and basic but ok for a short stopover."

POR Singharat
10/10 Excellent
"I can’t say enough about the service at POR! The staff went above and beyond to make my first visit to Thailand easy and so enjoyable. They helped to arrange for my daily activities and were quick to answer all my questions. The daily breakfasts were amazing and the beverages and snacks available all day were definitely a plus. Thank you everyone at POR!"
"I stayed in 2 other hotels in Chiang Mai before Cmor and those were nice especially the S17 but this hotel takes the cake.
First the staff members are excellent. I don't speak Thai but there were a lot of people working who spoke English. They are friendly, they greet me coming and going and had no issue with my goofiness. Shout out to the dining room captain Pea, great person. I spoke to her and she gave me some Thai lessons and just listened to me.
I stayed in a junior suite(2 double beds) by myself next to the pool. During the day time you can hear people in the pool which is fine for me, I'm awake usually around that time or out of my room.
The tv did have some a dead pixel line on the right side and some decoloration but majority of the time I was on my laptop or phone. It has multiple stations of different nationalities.
The room comes with AC nothing outdated or spaceage. I didn't use it as much, because I wanted my body to adjust to the temperature in Thailand.
The bathroom does need a little more lighting around the mirror area, maybe a small light bar can be placed above it for cheap. The toilet comes with a bumblaster, there's a standing shower next to it and on the other side of the bathroom is a nice bathtub. There are blinds in the bathroom to let in some light but again a light bar would really help. There's no outlets in the bathroom, seems to be consistent in Thailand.
There's a decent bed, folding couch, small table, 2 chairs."
"Our stay at the Merchant Villa was very pleasant. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The property grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed the on site wine bar, restaurant, and coffee shop. Upon checking out, we both received a gift bag with some good snacks. Thank you to all the staff at the Merchant Villa for making such a memorable stay!"
