"For a contactless check-in method, the staff were very accessible -easy to communicate with; the method was great.
The room was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent. I met the owners and staff the morning after I checked in (late @ 11:45pm). They couldn't have been more hospitable.
I stayed at the Walnut Inn out of necessity, attending a friend's father's funeral, and the Inn could not have been a better place for me to stay. I can imagine others enjoying it for its warmth, decor (fresh rustic farmhouse?), fresh breakfast and location to Amherst and surrounding area/towns/sites."
"We were in town to see a sick relative and this hotel was not only convenient to get to but the parking was superb- there was coffee available 24/7 and the daily breakfast was outstanding! Always delicious muffins-and not with the fake fruit that is sometimes used in hotels! The hot tub was amazing although the pool was cold! The staff were friendly and welcoming! The bed was very comfortable and room was nicely decorated!"
"The hotel was very clean and the owner payed attention to details. The community room was inviting with coffee and snacks available at all times. Our room was pristine and she added special touches. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others"
"The hotel was nice, full kitchen and quiet large for our family of four. We had a one bedroom suite, tucked into a corner of the hotel. Location was quiet, on the main floor. Pool and hot tub were nice. The sofa bed was not comfortable, at all. It would be worth the hotel replacing the sofa bed, as we could not sleep well at all and that is an important consideration for returning! One interesting thing that has nothing to do with the staff is that most of the other guests were older couples, and not particularly friendly or nice to staff or anyone else for that matter."
"The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather!
The included breakfast was typical fare: eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/pastries, etc.
As we were there for only one night, we did not take advantage of the outdoor pool or fire pit, but both appeared to be clean and well maintained."
