"We stayed in an unrenovated room but view amazing and room itself very spacious. A little tired in the bathroom but it is an unrenovated room so yo be expected. Unfortunately out of their control the left broke down and we had to enter our room via side stairs through the laundry, however this made it very difficult not just for us but for all the stuff in the hotel who were absolutely fantastic. "I had stayed at this property before and it was lovely. Well kept, clean, fantastic restaurant with a different specialty menu for every night. This time it was worn down, simple amenities such as towels were missing, restaurant quite poor and service overall although staff trying very hard, not sufficient. "

"A beautiful hotel in a very quiet and secluded area. Very friendly staff that offered us a free upgrade and great advice about what to do and where to hike. The restaurant is also wonderful with probably one of the beat wine lists I've seen. Bravo! You must have a car to get to this place however. If you want to be close to Chamonix (but not IN Chamonix) it's perfect!"
