"Loved our stay at the beautiful Haut Bailly bed and breakfast. Instructions to get there and into our room was clear and easy. The service was wonderful with our host helping us get a taxi and assistance with logistics. The bike ride to the nearby wineries was wonderful. It’s very quiet and we were the only guests (kind of spooky on Halloween) but we loved it and would highly recommend it as a romantic stay in Bordeaux. "

"What a beautiful Chateau! The owner tells me that they spent 5 years restoring it. It is wonderful. Be aware they only offer dinner on Saturday nights - I checked before. The good news is they do cheese and charcuterie boards. This suited me down to the ground. A glass of red wine and I was very happy. Charming owners too. Great if you use as a stopover en route as only 15 mins from Bordeaux and 5 mins from the motorway. Sweet little village too."

The breakfast was delicious and just enough to start your day! The hosts are lovely and attentive just enough but not in your face. The location is great and close enough to walk into town. A bit of an issue getting the right entrance (for anyone reading this, there are 2 enterances and you need the right one and may be told the wrong one!), but once all sorted, the appartment was perfect and in a great locations. Very modern, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend."
