Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. "Was a decent property in a nice little area, however it clearly needed repairs doing to the property. Random holes in walls, one of the wardrobe doors completly removed and the outside chairs needed replacing. Nothing that a few 100 euro couldnt fix to give this place a 5 stars. The host was friendly.ajd easily contactable. Nearest big supermarket is 1km away which is really handy as it has more or less everything."

"Fantastic stay! Beautifully renovated chateau, perfectly located just a 20 minute drive from the superb St Emillion area. Very nice breakfast and we also really enjoyed the bistro in the evenings. Lovely relaxed staff, friendly and helpful. Great swimming pool. We really liked the robes to go to the pool in and the Rituals toiletries were a lovely luxurious treat! Highly recommended! "

"Welcomed by a sweet couple who were very attentive to any possible needs. The home and room are lovely, super clean, well kept and quiet. Our host, Clement, was a storehouse of information regarding the area, and fun to chat with as he is a wine maker and quite knowledgeable about the history of locally produced wines. Without doubt, we would gladly stay there again."
