As far as my room was concerned the room was nice and very clean.. the staff was friendly however their informational skills was way off. First let’s talk about parking.. we was told by the lady at the front desk upon check in that we park in there parking area and we give them the slip and we would not be charged.. however that was not the case it is $30 for parking there over night and you can not leave.. if you want to come and go without paying each time you do so pay them for to park for you but either way you have to pay to park.. then I booked through Expedia my room should of been paid for in full except for the damage deposite but yet the hotel charged me a extra $22.64 cent to stay with them.. when I reached out about this they said Expedia didn’t pay for my room completely and that I owed them that.. which should not have been the case at all.. it seems to me it just extra charge after extra charge when staying at this hotel

If I could do 10 stars out of 5 on the staff and service, I would! Sedge at the front desk has been nothing but a great host! He has made me and my wife’s stay at aloft feel like I’m right at home.

This is my first time staying at this hotel. I had a maintenance problem in my room i appreciate it was 5 minutes of less for Mr. LLOYD'S to come and begin to fix the problem.

My only complaint is that finding parking for check-in was a little awkward. There wasn't any place to pull up on the street to get information and the lobby was not at street level

Thank you for your input. Unfortunately, our property is situated in the heart of uptown Charlotte and is a very busy area. Our guest do best by pulling into the parking garage and then coming to check in, rather than trying to find somewhere on the street to park.

We were up all night because of the noise on our hall. The walls are paper thin and the baby in the room next to us SCREAMED from 2-4am. Elevator had a sign that said “don’t use for health reasons”

I wore black socks in my room 623. They were covered in white dog hair after walking through the room. The toilet didn’t flush and the mirror to the bathroom is broken with duct tape on it. The hallway carpets are musty and dirty. The 6th floor hall has a large hole in the wall covered by tape and a trash bag. Horrific.

My frustration with this property was finding it. Went around block 3 times. Should definitely be better marked. Also located right at bus station busy area. Property itself very comfortable. Easy parking after I figured it out.

We liked how many restaurants there were around the hotel. One elevator was broken down and the wait for the one in operation was long. The room was sort of grungy and there was human hair on the pillows and sheets. There were no extra blankets and only two towels. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Not amazing
Not great, I’ve stayed at other Alofts and this one was surprisingly run down. The parking was confusing, the room’s A/C worked but it was very noisy (like maybe it had a plastic bag trapped in it.) While the staff was super nice and accommodating, the check in process was sluggish with a long line. Just not what I expected from Aloft.
