The rooms were so outdated and their version of scenic view was subpar. The tub in our room was so old it had a missing part on the base. The walls were paper thin. The staff was very informative and friendly honestly, the free shuttle to and from downtown is what saved the day. I hope it gets a facelift in the very near future bc it was pretty expensive for a hotel of such quality.

Nice view, enjoyed shuttle to Meeting Street. The pool was closed- I would not have booked if I had known that, tv stations went out with no signal, the heat blew cold air. I do not recommend this hotel even though it is a good location.

Room and bathroom clean. Older building so room door stuck a bit, but was not anything to complain about. All staff we interacted with were awesome. The included shuttle service to the Market street was a plus....left hotel on every half hour with return pickups at 3/4s after every hour up until 1045. If looking for something not so expensive as downtown...this is your place!! Also restaurant and bar on top floor with great views. Bartenders were great and made excellent drinks...would definitely stay again!!

Enjoyed the rooftop restaurant and bar, we chose to go there each evening instead of going elsewhere. The shuttle to the City Market was VERY convenient and made it so much easier for us to sightsee. The desk staff, driver, and all other staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this location the next time we plan to visit Charleston.
