One night getaway
We arrived by regional bus, walked into the town and easily located the hotel. They were accommodating to let us store our backpacks until check-in hour later. We found our own breakfast in the town center and they again stored our bags after checking out. The hotel is small, quaint, and homey. It was a nice experience away from Prague for a night.

It had a back gate that leads to a park, adjacent to the Palace. From this park, you could get a good view fo the palace, especially at night.

The Ametyst at CK
Cesky Krumlov is a great place to visit and this hotel is very close to the bus set down but still within the mediaeval town. Hotel is good with friendly staff. Don't expect expensive furnishings, adequate but inexpensive. Would stay again!

it is just near to the entrance of the town, so we dont have to take our luggage through the town. only thing is that there is no lift( a problem for older folk). love the huge balcony.

Beautiful Hotel in the Heart of Cesky Krumlov
This is a fantastic little hotel to stay at in Cesky Krumlov. We had the Attic Apartment and it was simply stunning! There was an awesome private patio that had views of the Castle and the town, a small kitchenette a refrigerator full of mineral water, wines, and local beers that were all extremely affordable and the hosts were above and beyond friendly and helpful (one of our traveling party lost his passport somewhere in town and the manager (who's name I'm forgetting at the moment) helped us track it down. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is truly a beautiful space!

This was a last minute booking so I didnt have high expectations from this place. Location was good. It's a small town so anywhere you stay within the town is a good location. You can walk it all in 10 15 mins. The hotel was super loud. You could hear everyone Walking around old boards cracking as people walked on them. The bed was just a box spring no mattress. Hard as a rock. Noisey room because it faced the main street. You have to pay to use the hot tub. 20 euros! Would not recommend staying here.

It is true that standard rooms are facing a street but a quiet street in a historical part of the town and at the beginning of the pedestrian zone. You had the room with completely new furniture, including beds. The private wellness centre is not free according to our website on Expedia and according to your reservation. Good location and price
The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in the attic room which was nice and open. There are no services provided by the company, you have to check in at the jewelry shop next door (they own both). They give you the keys and you pay and that's the last of them. Over all good location, only a few minutes walk from everyone. Would recommend for the price

We are small family run pension, not big hotel. We offer breakfasts to your room and daily cleaning, there is wellness zone with jacuzzi, sauna, infrasauna and relaxarium. If somebody need to help with some reservation (restaurant, theatre, taxi, shuttle bus) we are always very helful. Cute pension in an excellent spot in Cesky Krumlov
The hosts are lovely, helpful and kind. Our room looked exactly like the pictures on the website. The back garden was beautiful. I wish we had had more time to sit there and enjoy a morning coffee.

It's a very nice hotel.We was stay there for a second time but this time in a biggest room.We had our own kitchen,huge bathroom,living room and a bedroom.Next time we will book here as well for sure.

spacious room and great bathtub size. however we ran out of hot water at 10p at the middle of shower which caused a lot of inconvenience. This happened for 2 nights consecutively. on the third day there was literately no water in the morning. Lack of air con also caused discomfort during hot nights.

Room stated to have city views and pillow top mattress well that was wrong the worst possible bed no view except of the post office across the street. Street noise persisted all night with cars thumping over the cobble stone street. In need of a good make over as it is very tired.

Great location from which to explore Cesky Krumlov
Pension Ametyst was very conveniently located - a short walk from the bus stop. As a solo female traveller - I found it easy to catch the bus from Prague to C-K with only about a 5 minute walk to the Pension from the bus stop. My room was comfy and clean, with a breakfast tray served in the room. I would happily return to Pension Ametyst.

Lovely little hotel but wifi didn't connect
We decided last minute to visit Cesky Krumlov to attend the St. Wenceslas Celebration. I booked this pension and then got the last available seat on a 6 AM bus out of Prague. We arrived in Cesky Krumlov at 9 AM and found the hotel. They had two empty rooms, so let us look and choose which we wanted. We were able to check in early and not have to worry about our luggage was a huge relief! They spoke passable English, so we were able to get everything settled. The room was very quaint and comfortable. The rooms seemed to have recently been remodeled. The bathroom in particular had new fixtures and lighting, with a heated floor and a spacious tub. Heat in the rooms was by an oil-filled space heater in the room that we could control, and it kept the room comfortably warm. The bed was a "double" (which is a king size in American terms) and comfortable. Even my wife, who is more sensitive to different mattresses, slept well. We only spent one night, and they were happy to hold our luggage until 5:30 PM when our bus left. The only complaint that we had was with the WiFi in the room. From my laptop, I could connect to the wifi, but never get to the Internet. The owner came and looked at my laptop settings and reset the router, but no success. From two iPhones and an iPad, we could not even see the wifi network. I was able to connect my laptop via a cable, so that got us the little access that we needed, but we never could get the wifi working.

Loved the location (easy to get to from the train via a local bus).Room was comfortable, but floors were creaky--however, it is an old building and that is probably pretty common here. Very secure. Bed was not very comfortable. Staff/owner was very efficient, checking us in and giving us good information to explore the town in a very short period of time. WIFI nice touch. No telephone or clock.

The hotel isn't bad, but nothing great. It has character at least, and is within walking distance of the town center. The biggest annoyance was that the check-in took about an hour, with countless little papers to fill out and annoy the customer with. I'll look for somewhere else next time in Cesky Krumlov.

Fair for how inexpensive it was. From the student express bus from Prague make sure to get off at the first bus stop not the second in Cesky Krumlov. It is super close. We LOVED the area & castle!

Great Little Hotel
The staff was very helpful and friendly. They also own the jewelry store next door, and sometimes need to go there to get a hold of staff. A very good hotel for the budget minded traveller, with a very easy walk from the bus stop. It had all the comforts that one needed in a great town.
