Very friendly staff, great facilities and quality food

The manager of this Inn was very friendly and recommended a great bar in killington where I spent an enjoyable evening chatting to some equally pleasant people. I would have been happy to stay longer at the trailside inn.

We were there at the end of May. We particularly liked the view of the mountain from our window. The hotel is split over several attractive buildings, all sited on what used to be a ski resort. The staff made us very welcome, carrying my heavy suitcase to my room up a short but quite steep stairway. Arrived late but readily got great gin and tonic followed by tasty well cooked evening meal. Breakfast was included and had good choices and full plates. Very friendly helpful staff and got good background info and suggested activities from the charming Zimbabwean owner.

Friendly staff, comfy bed and a good breakfast.

I have stayed here before but this time we got upgraded due to the lift being out of order and my hubby is disabled so we got a suite on floor 3 the entrance floor. It was stunning either way a massive jacuzzi bath in the bedroom and a great sized bathroom with large shower. Also had a kitchen and living room with views over Killington. Lovely hotel would recommend.

A good option for Rutland (though I’d recommend having a car and going east. Check-in was a bit rude and didn’t feel welcoming. Wasn’t told that breakfast was served in a different building which was confusing. Overall clean hotel though.

From the second the booking was made we could not have been happier. A PDF with details of everything you would need to know. I have a disability so was sent easy access instructions for the lodge. The room was fabilous. Clean, really well appointed with a great bathroom. Really comfy bed great pillows. This is not a huge room BUT has more than enough for a GREAT STAY Also as much coffee and tea as you could eish to drink! Want breakfast? Taje the advice of the Lodge and travel 7minutes to...
