"Place was disgusting. Front door didn’t close, no smoke detectors, carpet stained and peeling. Smelled so much like cigarettes I felt sick to my stomach. Stayed for 10 minutes and then asked for a refund and booked a different hotel"
"Wasn’t a very busy weekend. My room was clean for the most part but the bathroom fan was very dusty. Also the pool was dirty and not kept unlike the pictures. Otherwise my visit was comfortable for one night."
"The Micro Inn and Suite was a great one-night stay, with friendly personnel and well-appointed amenities.
The room was clean, well-equipped with towels and soaps, and smelled fresh, as did the building's interior and exterior, which were neatly landscaped with colorful carpets.
The breakfast offerings were similar to those at other hotels, but I left without eating."
"I call this hotel the old bait and switch. The name, the picture of the lobby and pictures of the rooms taken at just the right angle lead you to believe this is a quality hotel…it’s NOT! The cost of the hotel was no where near worth it!!
The lobby looks nice but the smell hits you as soon as you hit the door. The rooms are very small and outdated! The bathroom is like a powder room, but with a shower, and the sink is outside the bathroom. The shower is small…just gross. I don’t have the words to describe it. Then the ugly green wall behind the sink had green bugs that blended in with the paint. That was enough for us…we checked out!
NOW…let me add that we drive over 3 hours for a graduation ceremony, so once we arrived in the room and tried to recover from the shock of its appearance, we had just enough time to shower and get to the ceremony. My husband killed one of the green bugs while I was showering and my daughter pointed out another to me while he was showering, so we decided to checkout. The lady at the front desk was very nice and understanding. We talked to someone from hotels.com who put in a refund request…which was denied. No monetary compensation was offered at all, even after sending a picture of the green bug to manager, who had every excuse why he couldn’t give a friend! We paid to stay elsewhere and it was MUCH nicer, cleaner AND a lot cheaper.
If you have absolutely no place to say, I say stay in your care before staying here!"
"The room was clean, which I appreciated. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I felt like I was almost aspirating whenever I lay down. I eventually had to turn myself around and sleep upside down just to get some rest. Honestly, I preferred sleeping on the couch to sleeping in bed. I do not understand why a hotel of this calibre invests in such terrible beds. It really made the stay unpleasant."
