"My family and I stood here because we were visiting Acadia National Park. The hotel is beautiful, it has its own unique look. The smell of the hotel they have a light perfume, music is played in the hotel which was cool. The rooms are nice with a full kitchen fridge as well. We utilized this kitchen in our 5 day/ 6 night stay. There is a little breakfast like muffins and they have complimentary coffee and teas. My only complaint is that the Queen bed felt a bit on the small side. It wasn’t the comfiest, it was ok. This hotel is about 20-30 mins from Acadia National Park depending where you want to go. It’s honestly perfectly located for what we wanted. The pool is the best in this pool. Initially I was worried that it was an outside pool if the weather was chilly, but the weather ended up really warm on most days so we went in every day even on the day that was 77, because my 11 year old needed to go in. The hotel has the inflatable donuts you can go into and some pool toys and a recreation room with ping pong by the pool. They have Lounge chairs and tables by the pool. It was great. There’s a Walmart right near the hotel which is convenient. We shopped there and stocked up the fridge. There are a couple restaurants as well in Ellsworth that were nice and a bunch of Lobster restaurants. Bar Harbor isn’t too far either to check out. The customer service at the front desk is so nice too and they will give you recommendations as well. I would recommend for sure!"
"The room was cute and cozy. The contactless check-in was great! We enjoyed the breakfast in the breakfast room as an added bonus since there isn’t a lot of choices in the area. I would definitely stay there again."
"This is the best bed and breakfast ever! Becky and Patrick were super courteous and knowledgeable. Each room ( we had two) was unique historically- chic and very clean. Breakfast was awesome. We will be back"
"the overall feel and environment of the inn. Plenty of open space to settle down by oneself or with friends to relax, read or play a game. Breakfast was excellent and the staff informative, helpful and courteous. I am also a fan of Edna St Vincent Millay and to remember that she read her poetry at the Inn was a plus. The walk to town was easy and the old homes along the way as well at the trees and flowers will provide a peaceful joy to your day."
