"The property was nice but the front desk reception staff was a bit rude. Didn’t explain any procedures to us when we arrived such as how to use the room key (not intuitive), when and how breakfast was served. Unable to get continental breakfast figured out for us after two tries (two mornings). No paper menu on the second day so we couldn’t order as we got in pretty late. Then they charged us €50 for room service because we didn’t fill out the form. What?? Spa services were a different story....

"This place is amazing. I just wish we could've stayed a few more days. You definitely need a car but it's great to place to stay if you want to explore Chianti and Siena area. Or if you want to just relax, their pool is great, their wine is amazing so can enjoy the view."

"Borgo Scopeto is a beautiful resort with amazing amenities. The pool was fantastic, and the food at the restaurant on site is phenomenal. My only complaint is the exorbitant cost of everything at the property. We also had no hot water during our stay, and had hoped we would be offered some compensation, but were not. I would recommend this property with the expectation to spend more than it seems "
