Lovely relaxation options and wonderful restaurant attached to the property! Great for a stay where you are travelling through Tuscany by car! Do not recommend travelling by public transport or taxi as it is very expensive.

What I liked: Beautiful sorroundings, view and charming place, great food. Great spa and pool facilities. What I did not like: Within a 2 week in advance, I requested a change of my original itinerary due to safety issues in our trip, however my request was denied by the property owners, accordin to Expedia. Still when we showed up, they did not accept the requirement stating that it was Expedia the ones who actually denied the itinerary modification. This lack of fexibilit turned out to be a big disapointment for me.

this is a family run business. Paula, her husband and their daughter Julia are truly amazing people! they take you in and treat you like family. The villa is clean well kept super quiet and relaxing with gorgeous views of the Vineyard countryside. The restaurant is top-notch even the locals come to dine because their food is so good. After a hot day in sienna, it was so wonderful to come home and take a cool refreshing swim in the pool with an Aperal spritz. I don't know if I will ever make it back to Chianti region again but if I do, I will for sure return to Villa di Sotto!

Located at the country side with a great view. Room pretty basic but clean and tidy. Cannot help to feel the place is over priced and everything seems to be about money. We had to pay instantly up front and when I asked for a second bed sheet (we can't sleep with only 1 bed sheet and it's never a problem anywhere to get a socond one), the owner wanted Euro 5 for 'washing'... not exactly customer service.

Herzlicher Empfang von Giulia mit kurzer Führung. Das Zimmer im Bungalow-Stil war genau nach unserem Geschmack. Aussicht von der Restaurant-Terrasse grandios. Lage mitten im Castello- und Chianti-Gebiet optimal. Restaurant mit leckeren toskanischen Gerichten. Und dazu Wein von der lokalen azienda vinicola. Wir kommen wieder!

This was a beautiful little gem nestled in vineyard, surrounded by olive trees, flowers, and vegetable gardens, with stunning sunsets, beautiful vistas. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, our room was quaint and clean, and the breakfasts were very good, with lots of home grown ingredients. I cannot say enough good things about Villa do Sotto, and we can’t wait to return!

A gem.

We stopped for for one night en route to Rome. We wished we could have stayed longer. The setting is superb. The restaurant provided good breakfasts and evening meals. The icing on the cake was the swimming pool, in fact there were 2. Great for cooling off after a long car journey.
