"Memmo Alfama is a charming boutique hotel in a great historical area of Lisbon. The staff welcomed us warmly on arrival via Uber to the front door. A quick tour of the property was provided by our hostess who exhibited great enthusiasm for the hotel, its architecture, the convenient location, the neighborhood, and the available amenities offered. The view from the terrace encouraged exploration of this unique area of Lisbon. A short walk on a cobblestone street led to the Main Street where local shops provided great opportunity to purchase authentic Portuguese-made products suggested by our hostess in the hotel lobby. I walked out of one shop with an in- country manufactured bedspread loomed in traditional patterns. The day ended eating pasta in a little neighborhood restaurant after walking steep hills with great overlooks of the Tagus River! Can’t say enough about this wonderful hotel!"

"Tivemos uma lâmpada da varanda fundida, pedimos para trocar e não havia pessoal da manutenção disponivel, pedimos que para apontar a reclamação e repararem no dia seguinte, mas durante toda a nossa estadia não foi resolvido. De resto tudo foi muito bom!!!"

"Fabulous place; peaceful and beautiful area, huge sandy beach with shallow water. Hotel has a lovely pool, its staff was very friendly spacious room with large terrace and amazing view. Fantastic breakfasts The only minus for me was lack of coffee/tea maker, I think hotel at this standard should provide it. "
