Air Cond only from 7pm to 9pm but not possible to control it. If you want to stop it during the night, not possible. We got sick. A lot of noise with the music really loud all day long No water in the bathroom for one day

This property is wildly terrible. Doors? no locks. Windows? Also don't lock. Bathroom? Like a prison. Except without the amenities. They do have air conditioning but you have no control over it and there is only a thin sheet on the bed I was SHIVERING all night. The man who runs the front desk at night is rude, condescending, arrogant... We left after 1 night

This was a very disappointing stay- one of which we did not end up staying at all. I have stayed in many hostels and this was just not what was expected. Reviews said it was a party atmosphere, which is great, but with that you would expect some type of safety measures put in place for people staying. I could do without the AC from 7am-7pm (even though it was extremely hot) and even with the fact the room wasn't left as clean as I had hoped (pillows had stains all over them), but when I was told there was no way to lock our DOOR that was on the first floor beside the pool I just could not stay overnight. One thing I will point out is that the level of service was very good. The front desk staff were very nice, however, I have never been to any hotel/hostel where there was no way to lock your room/belongings. Please note we had booked a private room, which you would expect to be able to lock for privacy/security.

The staff were extremely rude and made us wait while they had a private conversation at the front desk before serving us. We had a private room which was fine but the door didn’t lock properly and when we said this to the staff again they were very unhelpful and basically rolled their eyes at us so we ended up putting a table against the door at night. The hostel is in a great location and the shared areas are lovely but our experience was definitely tainted by the service

Party hostel with good atmosphere
Good atmosphere. Lots of things going on at the hostel incl big party on Wednesdays. Small pool but normal size for the old city. Great area (less touristy than the Centro)
