Staff was lovely and very attentive. Rooms were clean. Layout of the room was not ideal. I booked a one bed classic apartment and the picture showed a couch for a separate sitting area but I did not have that in my room. I had a wooden chair that was not for sitting. It would be nice to have a sitting area with a couch and a table as well.

The room was great and very cold, which I loved! Majority of the staff was polite except for the one gentleman at the front desk that wears glasses! He was very rude and dismissive! I paid for 2 guests in my room and he didn't give me my 2nd wristband for my guest.

Staff was kind and accommodating. Front desk security was always friendly. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower and sink fixtures were loose. The kitchenette was convenient. The coffee maker didn’t work, but was replaced quickly. The air conditioner was the best part of the stay!!!

The rooms are updated and very clean and comfortable. The staff are incredibly attentive, nice and very accommodating. Staff also assisted with tours and provided information regarding local places to visit. The location is excellent and within walking distance from historical sites, restaurants, bars, grocery store etc. It was a pleasure staying at this hotel and will highly recommend it!

This place was far better then expected! The location is incredibly convenient, just a 15-20 minute ride to-from the airport, and steps away from soooo much in historic Cartagena de Indias! Staff is very friendly, clean facilities, safe and convenient location. Only negative was the need for a new elevator which is already in being built. Highly recommend!!!

I was here just a month ago and had an even better experience this time around. I love how close the hotel is to everything. The walk to the docks to go to an island was so convenient. The grocery stores and express store is such a convenient walk. Being back so soon the building staff remembered me. I love presidential unit and will be getting it again on my next trip to Cartagena.

The building itself was undergoing some construction projects that created some noise and dust but not too bad. Otherwise, charming room with adequate space and nice amenities, located in the heart of the old city. Fairly quiet at night, aside from a little traffic noise. Would definitely stay again!

Location is walkable to all of historic area. I was a little disappointed in the kitchen. The inability to plug in the coffee maker in the kitchen due to no outlets was disappointing. In addition there was no microwave so any heat up had to be done on the electric stove. Also there was no windows in the unit I was in I imagine above the second floor there are.

I really liked my stay at Ganem. I noticed a good amount of reviews said there was no hot water, my shower was hot. I loved the style of the apartment and the size was perfect for me. I just wish the building was more friendly about guest. The building staff was great though, they helped with directions to a few shops when I asked. Overall a fantastic experience. I only dealt with the hotel staff on the first day of 6 nights and they were great.
