Great place to stay right in the heart of walled city. Everything is accessible by foot. Vivian (manager) was exceptional and helped us with transportation options to suggesting best places for shopping. Breakfast was exceptionally good! Best I have had across many countries!

We spent around a week at the Al Alma Suites. Our time there was great, the room was very comfortable in a great location of the city. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. One of the biggest highlights was the brunch, which was one of the best meals we had the whole trip and it was already included everyday. Highly recommended!

Location is perfect and the room was in great condition. We loved the restaurant/cafe of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious. It doesn't have an elevator and stairs are steep, so not very suitable for small children and elderly.

Apartment and restaurant were very nice. Just be prepared to climb stairs for both. Only downfall was rooftop is not accessible and we were looking forward to enjoying that area.

Amazing location of the apartment and restaurant inside of the walled city. Great walkability and proximity to many other restaurants and boutique shops. Vivian was awesome helping us out with our bags and room while we stayed here. The A/C units were pumping the room full of cold air and it was great to get out of the heat. Food at the restaurant was immaculate, great pricing and everything we ate felt good afterwards and didn’t feel groggy or processed.

Breakfast is to die for

The highlights of this stay is without doubt the breakfast which is served at the restaurant almost next door. It is absolutely delicious and the staff there is very kind and very helpful. They forgot our cleaning the first night, which was a bit annoying. Also the spa at the roof could be used. The beds were not very comfy and the apartment was quite worn down, but style was nice. Locations was absolutely excellent.

Fantastic

Our host Vivian was fantastic. She went above and beyond. Whenever we had questions about the area, she answered them and helped us get around. Our room was always serviced and cleaned every day. The restaurant was excellent. Both the hotel staff and restaurant staff were superb. We need more Vivian’s in every hotel. We will be back to Cartagena again.

Suitable, not my fave

The space is comfortable enough. However, one bedroom, the one with the small balcony is on the second floor above a street on which many "street performers" set up which was loud most nights and kept me up. The tiling is loose in the main bedroom and the faucets have high water pressure which splashed over the bowl. It's affordable for the location, and I felt like I got what I paid for. Location is convenient within the Walled City and easy to get to Getsemani. Breakfast at the restaurant each morning was fresh, filling, and convenient.

En general bien, aunque por estar en tan buena ubicación y con balcones puede afectarte el ruido de la gente a la madrugada, de resto todo muy bien.

No vayan si su llegada es tardía.

A pesar que previo a reservar consulté si era posible llegar luego del horario del check in y me confirmaron que todo era por medio de código en cerradura digital que no había ningun problema, al llegar a la 1 am mi sorpresa fue que no logré ingresar porque no codificaron el codigo y no respondían a ningún número de telefono. Al menos hotels me resolvió una noche en otro lugar, sin embargo no hubo si quiera una disculpa al dia siguiente en la mañana el community manager básicamente me llamó mentirosa, sin siquiera preocuparse por si había logrado resolver de alguna manera. Me escribió a las 2 pm del día siguiente para decirme que todo estaba funcionando perfectamente, tuve que enviarle un video donde evidenciaba que no funcionaba en la madrugada. A lo cual ni asi se disculpó. Al llegar al lugar la persona encargada del lugar, que es diferente al community al menos tuvo el gesto de regalarnos el almuerzo para disculparse. La comida es excelente, el lugar es muy bonito, sin embargo hay varios detalles como moho en el techo de la habitación y el jacuzzi exterior no estaba en funcionamiento. La cama está bien es cómoda, pero por los balcones ingresa bastante ruido, más porque había una reconstrucción en el edificio del frente. Sin embargo la arquitectura de los mismos es hermosa poder salir y tomar algo en el balcón.
