"The hotel was on the main street with shops and pubs all in walking distance. We were able to eat and drink at the Red Dragon. The only drawback was no on site parking so the car had
to be left about 10 minutes walk away. This was the only issue the rest was great."
"Had a light large room with en suite, if you want fancy then this is not for you, the couple running it are very easy to talk to and very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good, right in the centre of town. "

The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff were friendly and attentive, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. "A lovely pub with a stunning beer garden and direct access to the canal path for walks to Carnforth Morecambe and Lancaster. Only issue was the heat in the room which I appreciate it was unusually hot but room 3 also has a large noisy extractor fan outside the window so it was either heat or noise. The fan does get turned off at night. Would still stay again and the food was excellent."
"A great place to stay, particularly if travelling with a furry companion. There are many great walks from the hotel and easy access to beaches. The hotel is welcoming, the staff very friendly and the food is great quality, with mainly local ingredients. There is much to see and do in the area, including RSPB Leighton Moss, Arnside Knot and Arnside village which has good cafes and shops and great views of the Lake District."
