My room was small but perfect for one person. Decorated nicely and very clean. My only issue was on the second night it sounded like someone was stomping overhead all night. Otherwise a perfect stay. I would stay there again.

Right on the main street in Carmel. A short walk to the beach and shops all around. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants. Didn't need the car.

Liked: location, parking, nicely decorated room Didn't like: Bathroom lacked sufficient lighting at the vanity. Heating didn't work well. Breakfast room wascramped and, for the price of the room, I would've expected something better than paper plates and disposable forks, knives, and spoons. Caveat: The hotel isn't handicap-accessible. Too many stairs. Didn't stay in a cottage, so I can't say if they're accessible or not.

Great location very close to the beach and on the main street with all the shops and restaurants. Our room was nice and bright, newly renovated. Decent breakfast, but freshly boiled eggs should not be that difficult to provide rather than pre-packaged cold ones. Sound proofing the rooms would help. Overall nice stay.

Normandy Inn was very clean and up to date. Not worn but well cared for. The parking is a problem but I think it is everywhere in Carmel. I think because we went through Expedia they gave us a bad positioned room. It was ground level right on the sidewalk so as people walked by they could see in our room. We had to keep our blinds closed. Very annoying. And noisy. If not for that it was good. no room 301!!!!!!!!

My daughter and I had a perfect stay at Normandy. The staff at the front desk was so pleasant and personable. It’s a cute little Inn and walkable to Carmel Beach. We watched the sunset. It’s walking distance. Loved it!

The Normandy was ideal for a short break location. The only disappointment was the continental breakfast. Maybe my expectations were too high but a large pastry and coffee just up the road were a better option.

The location is unbeatable. Room 104, is our 2nd time staying there and is our favorite room, as the morning breakfast is right downstairs. The shops and the Beach are all in this area and is perfectly centralized from everything Carmel.

We had a lovely 4 night stay. The room was spacious, bed was perfect and the shower great. We appreciated the breakfast onsite. Easy walk to all of Carmel and the Beach. We were in town for the golf tournament and easily walked from the hotel to the gate. We would stay at Normandy again.

Love the location! Cute little inn close to the shops and the beach. Check in was easy and the front desk was very friendly. We got the deluxe king room and it was very nice.

The staff that greeted us in the evening to the gentleman that saw us of in the morning was so very nice and helpful! The place was very clean and comfortable. Dining in the area was exceptional. I would most definitely stay there again!
