"We loved everything about our stay at Tortuga Lodge. If you're looking for a place that provides both luxury and adventure, this is it. I never imagined I would enjoy a 6:00 am boat ride in the pouring rain on Rio Tortuguero, but since I was comfortably ensconced in my hotel provided poncho, I could fully appreciate the bounties of nature in all of its glory. The abundance of wildlife, skillfully pointed out by our wonderful hawk-eyes guide, Luis, truly made this a unique and special adventure....

"This place was absolutely beautiful but what made it more beautiful was the amazing staff that catered to our every need. Went for our anniversary but plan on going back with the kids. Natural pool after a hike was refreshing. The massage and facial was just what i needed. The road to get there is a bit rocky but once you get there its heavenly. "

Short walk across the street to the restaurant and a paradisiac beachfront. Pools are well maintained, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and activities. Cannot recommend Le Cameleon enough!"
