The hotel self was nice and the staff were very friendly. They gave me tips etc. And helped me through my stay. The shuttle bus was very convenient when you travel via MXP. They will pick you up when you arrived. My room was very spacious and clean! With all the amenities. The restaurant was sublime and friendly staff. I would recommend you to get your dinner here. Traveling to the city is better with the train to Milano Porta Garibaldi. When you are there you can pick the tram, metro or bus...

Fantastic hotel and stay

Closest to Malpensa Airport terminal 2, but only a 5 min drive to Terminal 1. A nice little hotel to stay at if you’re flying out early the next day.

This hotel is amazing and good value for money. Great location in the centre of town in the shopping district and just a short walk to the ferry terminal and the train stations. All the staff were very helpful and are able to offer tips on things to do in Como. The room was pleasant - nespresso machine, kettle and tea and coffee included. We were so lucky to find this hotel at short notice. Perfectly positioned next to the lake in Como. The hotel has only just opened after extensive refurbishment and it is beautiful. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the service was first class. The roof top bar is beautiful with views across the lake and the old town. Great stop over. Clean, quiet and spacious room. Very convenient for the airport and also train/bus to Milan. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The service and staff are superb!!! They are very helpful. The room is beautiful with generous amenities. The host at the rooftop, Dario, provide us and complimentary snack and drink. I will definitely stay at Vista Lago di Como for my next visit.

Beautiful room with beautiful views, perfectly located close to the lake, shops, restaurants. Cannot fault the staff and their breakfast service was lovely. The bathroom was gorgeous!

Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended.
