Such a disappointment
Really disappointed by the “room” that doesn’t have one inch to spare, I was fooled by the “pets welcome “ only to be charged over $10 per dog, TV was not working at all AND finally , the WORST part the shower and its door was so badly conceived that you could not get in the shower unless you were excessively skinny. I managed to fax myself but my sister couldn’t! No financial gesture/ compensation/exchange or possibility to take a shower was offered. The price/value is quite terrible overall.

We are sorry that you were disappointed with your stay.If the tv is not working at your arrival please feel free to let us know and if this cannot be fixed and there is availability we will be happy to change you to another room. It is true that there is a surcharge of 8 per night, per pet which is mentioned on our website as well as in the rooms. This is a normal charge at the hotels which allow pets, at least in this region, as extra cleaning is required. However, at 8 this charge is not over 10.As for the shower, the shower opens in the other direction than that shown on your photos. So if you had tried to pull, your sister would have been able to entre the shower without any problem. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. Kind regards

No transport links to the main city centre beyond hiring a taxi, however the staff were very friendly and the room was comfortable.

Perhaps it would have been wiser to inform the services of the town hall of the city instead of penalizing our establishment.

The hotel seems clean and what not however the wifi never worked and it was essential as to why I booked this location. Also, the bed sheets were stained even though they did ‘look’ clean. Overall, I expected better. The room is small and feels a bit crowded.

Nice hotel too far out.
The Hotel was very nice, well kept and clean. The staff were very friendly as well. It is too far from the main town and while the hotel can organise a taxi to get there they are not that easy to get home.

Stay was perfect.
Loved it that our two little dogs were welcome. Even got a ground floor room as requested. Only charge for dogs 5 euros per night each.

NO ROOM with reservation...slept in car
Showed up to Hotel with a reservation only to find out that every room is booked out. No rooms available. No where else in the town. And next city over too. We had to sleep in the car! Got no sleep. Lost 100 euro....we need a refund!

Overall a Good Stay
Affordable, good location, a good earthy breakfast is available at cost. Restaurant provides a good dinner, especially for travellers arriving late and wanting to rest. Room was remarkably comfortable yet functional. Staff was friendly and pleasant

Tea and coffee facilities in the room were not as expected. Room was clean. Breakfast I thought was only adequate for europeans and not necessarily for the English. Most of the staff very helpful.

The staff were very helpful in particular Astrid was very helpful with local information and also she returned my sunglasses to me which I had mislaid in the hotel. I had already asked at reception and they didn't help but she knew straight away so I was very grateful.

We used this hotel for 1 night before flying home... the carpet in the room was old and dirty, and the corners of the bathroom hadnt been cleaned for some time. The hotel is in the middle of a hardwear/retail estate and there isnt much near by. Reception staff spoke good english, but the restaurant staff really strugled with basis questions about the menu.

Free parking which was important for us as we were road tripping. Clean, good value for money. A 30-minute walk to the medieval city which itself is beautiful - a good spot for dinner.

This is an excellent choice if you just want to visit the medieval city and don’t mind walking! We enjoyed walking into town and back. Took about 15 mins along flat well lit road.The hotel was excellent and the rooms were comfy and clean with everything you need. Excellent value for money! Staff were friendly and helpful and I felt very comfortable practising my French. My friend and I shared a cheese and pate platter in the restaurant and thought they’d given us 2 portions as the platter was so big!!! Great stay!
