We had the best stay at Avondrood. The location was great to easily walk along the main road in the town with all the restaurants and shops etc. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms spacious and luxurious but what really stood out was the staff. Not only were they just lovely individuals, they couldn't do enough to recommend places to eat, vineyards to drink at and ensured that we had the most amazing stay. Don't hesitate to book Avondrood.

We had the most incredible stay at Mont Rochelle! We were staying for our honeymoon and it was our first stay in our 2 week trip and now that the 2 weeks is up I can confidently say that we stayed in 4 5* hotels during our stay in Cape Town and Mont Rochelle was by far the best, a league above the rest. Fantastic stay here. Comfortable and clean. Fantastic buffet menu and marvellous staff. Great decor and very relaxing. Nice to have filtered water taps in the corridors. Parking for disabled was right outside the hotel. Gym was small but useful. Lots of tasty restaurants around the area. So cheap to jump into an UBER to visit Cape Town waterfront

Truly a luxury experience with champagne welcome, three course breakfasts, real fires in the rooms and staff, at all levels, who were welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend this accommodation - beautiful rooms in a beautiful setting which was enhanced by the service provided by the staff through the car being washed in the morning, fires being lit in your room in the evening to the outstanding food and willingness by the staff to make your holiday a wonderful experience.

We stayed at the Villa at Auberge Clermont for 6 days. The villa is great - French country farmhouse style. Very comfy beds, large bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen with cooker, dishwasher fridge and freezer. There is maid service everyday. The verandah is perfect for sitting out in the evenings, and the pool is great. Very peaceful and trainquil. Well run by the staff and owners and perfectly placed a short distance from the centre of Franschhoek.

Me and my wife stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even left rose petals and sparkling wine in the room for us. The hotel has a very classic and stylish feel and contrary to other reviews which state noise being a problem we had no issues at all.

Abalone Guest House is great. Excellent welcome and hospitality. Good location overlooking the ocean towards Voelklip about 5k to the east of Hermanus.

I cannot recommend this place - Highly enough. Super hosts, (Pia and Paul) fantastic friendly staff, awesome chef (Mike). And the Kunjani Shiraz is to die for 👍 Definitely coming back (if they will have me!) 😁

Very friendly check in at the hotel - gave us a full tour and showed us the key features in the room. Excellent club lounge with drinks and nibbles during happy hour. Comfortable and well maintained.

This is about the best guest house I have ever stayed in. The rooms are fantastic, the views are fantastic and the facilities are just as good. Location is nice and quiet and convenient for all the local amenities.

It was an outstanding stay at a wonderful stylish place overlooking the sea.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a petite garden suite. We did have some maintenance problems with the room. On arrival, the plug in the second wash basin would not stay down so we asked for it to be fixed. When we came back later, the maintenance man had just swapped them over on the two sinks so now the other sink would not hold water! We were tired & went to bed at 9.45 pm. At 10pm the upper floor guests came home and switched something on that caused a loud rumbling noise in our room.By...
