This was such a special place to stay, feel like we found a little slice of paradise! The accommodation was stunning, the grounds amazing, the pool area gorgeous! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, breakfast was gorgeous and cooked to order! Unbelievable stay, wish we had longer there ❤️

Lovely location, rooms and super welcoming and helpful owners and staff. We were unable to leave due to flooding in the area so had the pleasure of staying one more day.

Truly a luxury experience with champagne welcome, three course breakfasts, real fires in the rooms and staff, at all levels, who were welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend this accommodation - beautiful rooms in a beautiful setting which was enhanced by the service provided by the staff through the car being washed in the morning, fires being lit in your room in the evening to the outstanding food and willingness by the staff to make your holiday a wonderful experience.

Arrived earlier than the official check in time to be met by the friendliest hotel reception we have ever experienced! Highlight of our holiday. We stayed for 2 nights and went on 4 drives and saw so many amazing animals. Pretty much everything very close to the vehicle - which was more than I could have hoped for. Our ranger was passionate and knowledgeable as well as determined to make the most of our trip for us. What an absolute treat! Loved every moment of our stay with a warm welcome and a chat every morning, a treat at bedtime and possibly the friendliest, most helpful staff. Pure South African magic!

Just one night stay but very comfortable in trendy surroundings. Very nice facilities. Large room overlooking the pool.

We enjoyed our stay here, the room was comfortable and we were well looked after. Our room was up stairs and a slightly awkward space, but it goes with a characterful old building and was not a problem.The breakfast was extremely good.

A beautiful property overlooking the sea. We really loved staying here. Very clean and good breakfast. Staff were very helpful. The beds were very comfortable. I would recommend staying here for the views, whales, walks and just relaxing.

Fantastic place to stay

We stayed here for 3 nights in a petite garden suite. We did have some maintenance problems with the room. On arrival, the plug in the second wash basin would not stay down so we asked for it to be fixed. When we came back later, the maintenance man had just swapped them over on the two sinks so now the other sink would not hold water! We were tired & went to bed at 9.45 pm. Everything was brilliant, there was nothing we disliked. The room, the service, the food, the wine were all the best, with the "add-on" of a tour of the vineyard. Fantastic!

Big room with many thoughtful features and a great breakfast. The hotel has two pools (one heated) and a fabulous onsite restaurant (fine dining quality). We made use of the free shuttle to ferry us to the wine tram.
