"Another great stay at the Laguna, when visiting family in Poole we always look to stay at the Laguna. The staff have always been helpful and attentive , check-in is quick and fuss free The rooms are always clean, if you're looking for faults yes you will probably find them but then again you can find faults in a 5 star room if you look close enough. We have never had any issues with rooms and we've stayed here many times. The hotel is in a very good location within in walking distance of Bournemouth town centre, walk down through the gardens and 10 minutes you're there, couple more minutes you're sat on the beach and it's also close to Poole, and of course the surrounding areas including Jurassic coast just a short drive away. They have entertainment often and an onsight bar. The swimming pool is open daily, only been in it once and it is very clean. If you're staying in Bournemouth you can't rely on the weather always being perfect so beach not always an option so a hotel with a pool is a massive bonus. One other big plus is free parking. If you're looking for a wallet friendly hotel whether it be for 1 night or a week or more away I highly recommend The Laguna in Bournemouth."

"The beach view is obviously great, and the reason for coming here as it's affordable. The reason it's affordable is due to the tired conditions. The balcony was filthy and my partner had to clean the chairs with wet loo roll and the railings to lean on. The room itself was clean enough, although the bathroom didn’t make me feel like I wanted to have a bath, and i usually like to take the opportunity in a hotel. We didn't really enjoy breakfast, egg and bacon ok, sausages and hash browns not. I would rate it closer to 3*. I would stay again, because of the location. "

"Another stay at a Harbour Hotel; we do enjoy their offering. Consistently providing great service and a pleasant stay. The Jetty at Christchurch Harbour Hotel served an excellent meal and service - highly recommend the Jetty. "

"A very well used hotel not as special as I had expected. The air conditioning didn’t work in the room and no windows that open. The windows were not kept clean and hadn’t been for a long time which was very evident in the dining and reception area. The swimming pool was not clean be it the end of day when we went into the pool. There was a considerable amount of hair and fluff floating and the changing area was not kept clean. Floors were wet and clumps of hair in numerous places. Thus I didn’t return to the swimming area. Breakfasts were not good. Eggs were over cooked and bacon too hard to eat. Not enough variety."

"Very cosy, clean room. Tea, coffee, biscuits. Courteous and helpful staff. Good evening meal and breakfast choices. Pleasant garden. "

"Unfortunately this beautiful hotel is going into disrepair and needs renovations. Breakfast was average. Above all, they need to pay for cleaning as almost every corridor needs cleaning. Room was small but sadly not clean! I rather not to look at the radiator as it was full of cog-webs, spots, .. I love the location and the communal areas and live music. I always come back only for the good atmosphere."
