I don't know where the noise came from, but throughout the night, I could hear something pumping (like a boiling water tank kept boiling) every two minutes, so I couldn't sleep much during the night.

Excellent room - upgraded to a King size room due to the excellent price. Gave me lots of room for my knee scooter. Room was clean and spacious. Very clean and bed was so comfortable. I slept for hours! Heaters very efficient. Workman woke us up with local road works but this would only be temporary and not related to the hotel at all.

What used to be a decent budget hotel is now a run down, dirty, and poorly maintained property. It is clear that the management/owners do not care about maintaining good standards as the property will be demolished in the near future to make way for a new development. Housekeeping was by far the worst aspect of our stay. It was clear that the housekeepers did not clean our room at all, but gave the “appearance” that it had been serviced by pulling the top sheet tight across the disheveled bedsheets below. Thankfully they remembered to change the towels which were required to mop up the leaking shower to avoid injury. I would suggest you take a door chock if you are care about your personal safety as the door locks were less than secure and being on a main road, with lots of foot traffic day and night with only your room door and a general access door between you, it did not provide a great deal of comfort. I would not stay here again and given the lack of care displayed, it is a saving grace that the property will cease to exist in the near future.
