"Most stuff was closed when we visited in early March but the hotel has a beach bar and restaurant across the road which were very good. Can recommend this hotel at this time of year for being so quiet. You do need a hire car though if you intend to visit sights in the area. "

"Stunning hotel in a beautiful location! Our room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the expansive gardens. The staff went above and beyond to look after us. Fab pool area, and recommend a massage and swim in the warm spa pool. Dinner was delicious and very good value, so much food! Breakfast definitely worth it, so many options including fruit from the estate. Very much hope to return one day…"

"Excellent masseria a little bit far away"

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Masseria Le Lamie. It’s in a very peaceful area and it felt like we were entering an oasis. We stayed in a luxury double room which had lovely features including a vaulted ceiling. The bathroom was modern, spacious and had a fantastic shower. The grounds are well maintained with lots of different seating areas and interesting objects dotted around the place. The outdoor pool was beautiful and set among olive trees. We spent our first day at the Masseria just enjoying the surroundings and we also did a 2hr pottery class which was really interesting and fun. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of things in the buffet. There is also a lunch and dinner menu available. We had dinner 3/4 nights and thought the food was excellent. Last but not least, the staff and service was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, it really had the personal touch. We would definitely like to stay here again. "

"The best thing about Angel Bay B&B is Sal and Nadia. The next best thing is the beautiful beach a short walk away. This review is for Americans: If you are looking for a glamorous beach hotel with a glitzy bar or pool, do NOT stay here. But, if you are looking for Italy, Italian warmth, people who feel like family, and the peace and calm of a small, lovely village, then Angel Bay B&B is for you. Angel Bay is a small B&B with just a few rooms. Our room was comfortable and lovely. The rooms have bookshelves and cloth boxes so there are lots of places to keep your things. The bathroom has lots of storage for things like makeup and lotion. I liked the big window that we could open to let in fresh air. Each room has its own Mitsubishi air conditioner (more than adequate) and TV (we didn't even turn ours on). The B&B has a big patio with a hammock, sofas, and tables and chairs. Breakfast is served there, but we loved sitting out there in the evening. We met some really nice people from all over. In the back, there is a big sink where you can wash clothes (there was also soap for that purpose if you needed it) and clotheslines and racks for wet clothes and swimsuits. Things dried really fast. Maybe a block away is the ocean, the public beach. And Sal has chairs and umbrellas you can use if you want that option. But...we rented umbrellas at Samana Lido just a little further down the road and loved it. The public beach was okay, but Samana Beach was like Waikiki."
