"Not the pictures used to advertise the property. Hair and old guests stuff left behind, odd smell and generally not a nice stay, also right by a building site so lights were everywhere"

"Loved our stay. The self-catering accommodation was extremely clean and beds very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped.
The bar area we attended in the evenings was a little tired and could have done with a refurb. The entertainment was a bit basic but kids enjoyed it.
The location was a bit remote but we enjoyed exploring the area and it was very quiet at night."
"Two night stay and really can’t wait to stay again. The room couldn’t be faulted for beautiful facilities. I would have liked the bottled water to be replenished for the 2nd day. Nice complimentary fizzy pop in the mini bar. The food quality is exceptional. We ate in The Chapel the first night and couldn’t fault it. All staff are exceptional, professional and very friendly. The 2nd night we ate in the bar and again couldn’t fault the food. Takes a little getting used to how to get around especially when the bar is closed as tou have to wander through the breakfast room to get to the cafe to buy water. The only issue I had was the smell of stale sweat and BO wafting through from the gym was really off putting. It made the staiwell stink."
"Nice hotel. The concierges was lovely when I arrived and asked me about my day. The room needs a little upgrade and the door needs soundproofing as heard next door coming and going all night but other than that it was nice"
"The room was clean with everything we needed. The beds were two twin mattress put together which kept separating leaving a gap to fall through which was very annoying and uncomfortable.
Breakfast was good, lots of choices.
Pool and spa was nice, sauna was out of order though but everything very clean.
Overall it was really nice for the price and I would go back, just would make sure it’s a full double bed!"
"A well presented resort and a well equipped self catering apartment. Located centrally in Cornwall for most days out. The Lookout bar is vibrant and busy most evenings. There is plenty for the younger people to do on site.
The few things that require resolving:
1. The balcony seating was soaking wet on arrival.
2. The freezer box in the fridge was full of ice and could not be used.
3. Only one poor quality small loo roll was provided, it certainly allowed you to get in touch with your inner self.
Would we return, yes now that we are aware of the pitfalls."
"Bedroom was a little tight.
The staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Breakfast was very good and the pricing system made it that you were not paying for things you didn't need.
Bar was extensive."
