Lovely hotel. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very luxurious. The evening meal was okay but my husband’s dish tasted quite bland, considering the prices - we expected slightly better quality. We really enjoyed the history and novelty of the hotel. The free mini bar was a nice touch.

Such a great hotel, I can't say enough good things about it. The room (wow!) was awesome, fantastic and I had the most restful and amazing sleep during my stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Totally recommend you visit and experience this for yourself, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

the whole experience was fantastic, a warm welcome by all staff. we had an issue with our heating not working in our room, an attempt was made twice to repair it but unsuccessful, we went out for Dinner and was offered another room late evening, although the offer was appreciated we felt it was to late to move. all in all a very lovely hotel and we will hopefully return soon.

Everything was amazing staff friendly, atmosphere was phenomenal. Ee did two toyrs abd Elliot was great, shame we didnt meet a ghost. The only small thing was, the coffee could have been hotter at breakfast

I travel all over the country for work and I have to say this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.Not only for the history and the premium look of the hotel but the service, the staff, breakfast, room quality, bathroom shower where all with spot on. Leaving aside the novelty value, this is an excellent hotel. Superbly appointed room with excellent bathroom and everything works perfectly: near-silent but efficient climate control, faultless WiFi connectivity and TV casting. The restaurant is a treat, creative and beautifully presented menu choices and fabulous breakfast choices. Most of all the staff made the visit special; attentive, warm, courteous and helpful. Superb, thank you.
