"a terrible, small, smelly caravan awaited us with a toilet and shower around the corner in a dark small outside room. No cookware and cutlery were outdated and old. We did not stay there and booked another accommodation, therefore needed to pay twice for accommodation for our holiday. When confronted the owner about the crappy caravan she just replied " In 6 months time, you will laugh about your experience at The Stables""

"We loved our little chalet which was really comfortable and immaculately clean . It was a little hot even with the air con on but the outside temperature was over 40 degrees which is very unusual . The food in the restaurant is great and the pool area is nice . There are tame deer who are really sweet and hang around the chalets in the morning . "Alabaster Box certainly is doing something right! Besides the home being immaculately kept, the service is top notch. Upon entering my room I was met with the most beautiful scent of sandalwood. A small fridge, and kettle were available for my snacks and tea. The shower was absolutely amazing, and much needed after a long car ride! The balcony even had views of the lagoon. "Lovely lodge right on the beach. Quaint lodge rooms were very comfortable but ceilings are slopped so not good if you are tall. Brilliant shower but getting a little worn, still loved it. Food on the premises good and reasonable, friendly staff."
