Traveling solo I had a very peaceful 5 days here. I paid for a sea view room which had a large balcony, the room was very clean and well appointed. The breakfast choice is terrific, the staff excellent. The outdoor pool is not heated so in May it was too cold for me (a keen swimmer) to venture into it, however it's a good sized pool.

This is our 2nd visit to Hotel Porto Calpe. It’s a very clean and comfortable hotel and in a great location. Looking forward to going back in June.

Stayed at the Diamante Beach last Friday night, on our way to our final holiday destination. Late arrival time of 9.30pm was no problem, parked in the hotel's own underground car park, which was expensive at €12 for the night but didn't feel like trying to find an on street space. We had a very comfortable stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly , we even stayed an extra night. The food was very good and well presented.

What a charming, and perfectly located hotel. Shower was good and powerful. Room was sizeable and airy with good bed comfort. In the heart of the old town which is so charming. Would definitely recommend

This was an exceptional hotel. There isn't one thing I can say negative about it. Really high end. Looked and smelt great. Food and facilities were fabulous.

My family and I travel a lot and mostly to 5 star hotels . this hotel had so many positive despite us visiting out of season April 15-22 2016 . they staff were very friendly and helpful and seemed to understand our English but not perfect in Translation but what they failed in translation they made up in effort . The facilities i.e. pool stunning and beautiful views of the sea and well managed gardens . they have 3 out door pools to chose from and the bottom pool was perfect for my 2& 9 year...

My fiance and I have just returned from spending 3 nights at La Serena. From the moment we arrived we were treated like we were the only guests in the hotel & we were made feel so special. Check in was done very efficiently by a tall gentleman, while we were taken onto the sun terrace by a lovely lady and both of us given a glass of cava. Loved the location , pool was lovely , other than breakfast we did not eat at hotel. Very quiet and peaceful. Would have liked facility to make a coffee in room and other than qr code for information on facilities. We had room with terrace which was lovely friends in room with balcony said balcony bit snug. Overall was lovely and relaxing would reccommend and will stay again.

Lovely location, great hotel.. menu a bit repetitive same for lunch and dinner.. but the food was delicious and staff exceedingly friendly and helpful.. Loved being lulled to sleep with the sound of surf in my ears
