"I loved that this property (one of the oldest buildings in Callander) is run by a youth co-op helping locals. What a fantastic initiative. But what this means is that you don't have access to anyone during your stay. The email before arrival was easy - building and room access info. Our only suggestions are PLEASE fix the extraction system in the kitchen. The entire downstairs stinks. Please provide paper towel in the kitchen and please add parking info (around the back) to arrival info....

"Brilliant idea letting out students rooms at the summer break, beautiful settings and loads of amenities locally. The “Scran”restaurant brilliant,tasty food and great staff and prices. "For where it is in industry easte was impressed how clean it was. Plenty windows that opened for fresh air. For 1 night was great very close to kelpies. Bed was comfortable i am not good sleeper in another bed but slept well. Lady at reception was amazing very pleasant and knows her things around the area very helpful. Infact i would say one of the best hotel receptionist. I would stay again. Very small and personal hotel. Only thing i would say no bar but not really important."
