The Bergson is a great find and wonderful value for this region. It's walking distance to the restaurants and shops of Calistoga and easy driving distance to several great wineries in Calistoga and St. Helena as well as the mud baths. With free parking and continental breakfast delivered to your room, very comfortable beds, a separate den, and a great staff, it's well worth a look.

Beautiful property. Felt very intimate and unique. Our room was large and decorated so thoroughly. We were here in shoulder season so a lot of property maintenance going on so it was noisy on the property. Tree trimming and leaf blower etc. I highly recommend. Staff was great. Wonderful value for the money.

It was just a delight to stay at the Bergson. The place was clean the breakfast was convenient and cool how it came to our room. The staff was super friendly and gave us passes to ride the town shuffle for free and also let us know of a wine tasting that was feee to us for staying there. We will delve staying at the Bergson next time we are in town

Cute place, location is perfect. Walls are incredibly thin. We could hear the person in the next room snoring, carrying on a normal conversation, etc. Our friends went and they had a different room. Their experience was better than ours, so I suppose its a matter of what room you get.

I had requested early check in and their process for providing it was interesting, I was willing to pay the $25 fee for early check in and they couldn’t guarantee it, even when I called day of to confirm a guaranteed 1-2 pm check in. When we arrived the champagne hadn’t been placed in the room and there weren’t any champagne glasses for it, only non-stemmed wine cups. The patio seemed unkept and the headband of the bed frame had a thick coat of dust on the top of it. When I swiped at it, a couple of huge flakes of dust fell onto my pillow. All in all it was a fine stay, but I’ve stayed in cleaner motels. We did accidentally lock ourselves out at one point and was graciously let back in, so the staff seemed pretty accommodating for that at least. Oh and the breakfast was interesting, not at all what I was expecting… they delivered it to our room which was nice. However the options were very limited and not that good and we barely ate any of it, we ended up going out for breakfast instead. Maybe improve those options a bit and not charge extra for coffee! I did love the bathtub though, that was lovely!
