SENZA Hotel

6/10 Okay

"Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Senza for a birthday weekend. The highlights were the clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, and well-maintained property. The hotel also hosts complimentary evening wine tastings from local wineries, which was a nice touch. We appreciated that the staff recognized my wife’s birthday with a slice of cheesecake waiting in the room, which made the stay feel special. We also booked massages during our stay, and the therapists were excellent. However, guests should note that the spa facilities are quite limited. There are no shower or relaxation facilities, so it feels more like an in-room or standalone massage service than a full spa experience. A few aspects were less impressive. We noticed other guests receiving complimentary welcome champagne while we were not offered one, which felt a bit inconsistent. The breakfast credit also did not go very far, as the on-site café is relatively expensive and portions are on the smaller side. While we enjoyed our stay, the value proposition may feel less compelling at peak-season pricing."

"Very disappointed for the price and for a milestone birthday weekend. The customer service was borderline awful. They literally messed up every single order we placed and everything we ordered was very, very delayed (food, wine, beverages, cups, napkins, utensils, directions, help with luggage…). The staff did not listen at all, we seriously thought that we were getting punk’d lol The phone and the TV remote in our room barely worked… they didn’t have any Bluetooth options nor speakers. They didn’t have movies for rent… Even the drapes in our room were messed up lol! And on top of that, there were cockroaches on our chase lounge outside and huge spiders in the room. Beds were oddly small and pillows were super stiff and uncomfortable"

"Located on the main street with the shopping plaza next to it along with other restaurants and a short drive to Oxbow. Loved the yummy hot breakfast and variety of bread options, AND waffles even though I couldn’t eat them (gluten sensitive) Room is large and clean. Highly recommended this hotel!"
