"This hotel is so close to the main road that you want to be on in Lisbon. It's close to all of the squares, restaurants and shopping. Probably the best part of the whole experience is the staff. They bent over backwards to help me move my luggage, store my luggage and one girl even helped me move my luggage to the next block to my awaiting Taxi – how wonderful is that? It was a very clean room-great experience."

"We had a very nice experience staying at Pestana. From check in to check out was all effortless. We arrived at the hotel hours before our check in but when I asked if we could do an early check in before we came all the way from another country and different time zone. Daniella did not hesitate to accommodate us. She put us on priority list. It did not take 10 minutes from walking she called us and told us our room is ready. Room was clean and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine. Very satisfied with their service and will definitely book at this hotel again. Keep up the good work "

"We stayed at Eurostars das Letras in Lisbon and had a generally pleasant experience, with a few hiccups. I booked a Junior Suite through Expedia, but upon check-in, we were given a room that felt smaller and didn’t match the suite shown online. We stayed one night thinking the photos might be misleading, but after checking the hotel’s website the next day, it was clear we were not in the correct room. We brought this to the front desk, and to their credit, they apologized and promptly moved us to the proper Junior Suite. They also offered complimentary breakfast for the rest of our stay. While appreciated, it felt like partial compensation since we didn’t get what we paid for on the first night. The new room was lovely, spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed and a balcony with a beautiful view of São Jorge Castle. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of hot and cold options. The location is decent, quiet and away from the busiest areas, but about a 25 to 30 minute walk to the city center. Overall, a comfortable stay with good service recovery, just double-check your room upon arrival."

"The property is well situated, spotless, comfortable and the staff and breakfast were very good. There aren't any fancy facilities but well equipped gym for a quick work out for the day. Usual hairdryer, toiletries provided. Room cleaned every day and beds and towels replaced. Only one small thing is the rooms aren't huge but its a city break so perfectly adequate."
