"We stayed at Inturotel Sa Marina for 7 nights in May with my family of 4, 2 adults and two kids. The hotel is very family friendly and safe for kids. They have a kids club that will give parents some time alone. The hotel is beautiful and the landscaping immaculate. The staff is helpful and friendly. Although the rooms are not modern, they do feel timeless and our stay was very memorable. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The decor is dreamy. The surrounding area are super safe, walkable, friendly and interesting. Although a very touristy area, you can still find delicious food all within a 3 min walk. 2 grocery stores and 3 laundry mats are within 1-5min walk. The beach is 5 minutes away and it is absolutely gorgeous and fun. We will definitely return. The drive from Palma international airport doesn’t feel long at all. Don’t be nervous when you see the smaller towns on the way there, although they are very different than metropolitan cities, they are safe. Biggest piece of advice is to pack light and rent a car to explore the island."

"Great place for families we have young children and they were totally in love with the pools as 2 are around 25cm deep so even our 16 month old Al could stand up herself. The staff were also very friendly towards the kids not worried by food on floor etc which is inevitable. "

"The hotel is really well located for the local beaches, shops and restaurants. Staff are all helpful (the activity organiser works especially hard) and the property is kept in good condition and clean. The pools are also great for young children. The only negative is as other guests have said, there is no sound proofing in the rooms and so you can easily hear your noisy neighbours, the bins being collected or the evening entertainment (wherever your room may be), although the entertainment does stop reasonably early. Definitely the best hotel we have stayed in Cala D’Or and so would recommend "

"As all apartment block in between Cala Dor and Portopetro. Quiet location though the rooms themselves are sometimes not quiet as noise carries from other apartments very easily! Usually ok, but when there is noise late at night this can be a disturbance. Small pool with loungers and parasols which we used many days - our daughter loved it. Pool condition needs improvement though. Overall the apartments were clean and functional, if a little basic. Lovely views over the bay of Portopetro. Good A/C. Staff very friendly and helpful. More generally, easy to walk to restaurants in the evening - 10-15mins to either Portopetro (very pretty) or Cala Dor Marina (bit more flash but worth a visit). Beaches are less close. One very small one within 10-15 mins walk, but not parasols for hire and very busy. We got a taxi to Cala Mondragó which was nice, and I think there is a bus too. Overall we had a lovely week’s holiday here - beautiful part of Mallorca. "

"I have no complaints at all regarding the grounds of this hotel or the facilities available. The room was quite small and tired but adequate for a short break away. Swimming pools and grounds were lovely, can’t comment on food etc as we dined out each day after choosing the room only option. Location is fantastic, lovely beach a few minutes walk away and not to much further is the marina and a steady walk into the centre of Cala D’Or. Plenty of nice bars, restaurants and shops near the hotel so the location was fantastic. The only thing that let this stay down was check-in, we arrived in the evening having pre-paid the room in full. I understand there may be a delay in Hotels.com giving this information but I had a full receipt of this available yet was being told I had to re-pay the full balance. After about half an hour wait in reception I was asked to log in to my bank account to show proof of payment and was eventually given the key card. On arrival at the room the key cards didn’t work so had to return to reception again and then on entering the room received a call from reception again questioning payment. The key cards were an issue the entire stay, it appears the battery was going on the lock, it could take over 5 minutes repeatedly putting the key cards in for it to open. These things happen and that didn’t bother me but what did is when we asked for maintenance to look at it after trying to get in for 15 minutes and the rudeness we encountered from him. "
