"We stayed at this lovely hotel in April. We had 2 small labs with us. We could not take them into the bar or restaurant, but that was NOT a problem. The team were wonderful with us and our dogs. They went above and beyond for us. They made us up a beautiful table in the library and served us drinks, breakfast & a wonderful dinner there along with our labs. The service, food and hotel were lovely. It made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you guys"

"If you’re looking for a historic experience while visiting the castle, you can’t get better than this Inn. It’s obviously been modernized, but eating downstairs has such a tavern feel to it. The portions are huge and the food is delicious especially the welsh pie and soups. Within the castle walls, you’ll have an array of local shops and pubs to frequent after touring the castle. Enjoy a walk along the water. As others have mentioned, there are stairs and it can be a bit of a maze to get to your room. I was worried but this actually did not bother me. As long as you can lift your suitcase up stairs, you’ll be fine. "

"Beautiful B&B in the most picturesque little town. Clean rooms with lovely tea making facilities and fridge, breakfast was delicious and filling. The owners couldn't have been more helpful, even making us a pack lunch for our climb up Snowdon. Pub next door had good selection of beers and great portions for dinner! Location was perfect for the Plas Y Pas car park for the Pyg & Miners track. Only 15mins drive. "
