"Great location for a short stay in San Jose. Near shopping and can walk almost everywhere in town. Rooms were clean and people were friendly. Breakfast buffet was ok not great. We ordered pancakes but got completely forgotten until after waited a long time and we asked and they were like oh you want to order pancakes? No one was apologetic at all; just order now why complain ? Still, good place to stay even with ‘I’m always right’ breakfast staffs…"

"Breakfast buffet always ready at 7am. Great sports bar. Staff is super fun. This unique boutique hotel used to be a mansion - they kept adding on. It’s like a rowdy Tico Winchester Mystery House . I suggest staying in the modern wing. Pura vida."

"We purchased a day pass to enjoy the beautiful hot springs at Rio Perlas Thermal Resort & Spa, and it was absolutely worth it! The pools were relaxing and well-maintained, and we also went on a scenic hike that made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was visiting the farm and getting to pet the animals—it added such a fun, unique touch. We had an amazing time overall and definitely plan to return when we’re back in Costa Rica!"
