Cabin Lake

Knew it was basic for amenities, but this is a motel, not a hotel as represented in the description. Very sparse amenities, and desk only available from 2:30-10:30 pm during our stay. While it worked fine for us, there is no noise blocking AT ALL. If you have trouble sleeping or it’s busy season and you need a quiet place, I’d skip this one. No elevators, so if you have any issues with stairs request the first floor. It was fine, but don’t think I’d use a Base Camp property in the future if I can avoid it. Reviews made it sound nicer than what it is. It was pretty clean and the bed wasn’t too bad, so that was a plus.

This property going through renovation. Everything was very difficult, parking, staff, amenities. They force you to use their app. Staff clearly says, if you bok through the third party, no help!! Way too expensive. Wonder why popular travel busses were there? Do they get a better deal? No better than a cheap Motel

Great location and helpful team at the front desk. Hot tubs on top deck were great after a long day of hiking.
