Dudwick park was once populated by a herd of red deer, believed to be the oldest herd in Norfolk. The animals escaped during WWII and now populate the Marsham woods. In the 18th century the estate was owned by members of the Wright/Sewell families who lived in Buxton for many generations. "Great hotel, check in was easy. The gym was great, pool was busy! Dinner was nice (Seabass), I chose to eat in the bar. Very peaceful location, I'd definately stay there again if I was ever in the area. "

"The staff throughout were courteous and helpful. Our room was quiet, clean, comfortable and well heated on a cold day. The breakfast buffet was plentiful - great choice of cold and hot dishes. Hotel is in a great location on the outskirts of Norwich and with free parking, we caught local taxi to get around. Didn’t use the pool this time though it was good several years ago. Will definitely return again"
