I was greeted by two front desk agents whose humor and genuine engagement made the stress of the day disappear instantly. "I have no complaints. Of the 3 hotels I stayed in on this trip to Europe, this was by my favorite. I chose a lake view room and from My balcony I could see right over to Evian. Every staff member was beyond helpful from getting me in for dinner when I didn’t have a reservation to arranging an early morning taxi for me. They even indulged me practicing my terrible French with them. I plan on visiting Lausanne at least once a year to visit friends and I will always stay at De La Paix "

"room was directly under the roof. I am a tall person. 15% of the rooms in the hotel were occupied. Why give a small room directly under the roof to a tall person then? in 70% of surface of the room I could not stand. Also, the cabinets are short. My coat could not even hang in the cabinet (too low for the coat) "
