"A great place to stay in the heart of Cardiff. This is top notch luxury and what great beds and a fantastic sleep, I didn't want to leave. The food is good, but as with all buffet breakfasts don't go at the end as the food will be mostly cold. Bain maries do a fair job but it's not like getting the meal cooked to order.
The facilities are great, but beaware that the Spa is NOT included in the room rate and this is an extra £32pp Mon-Thurs and £42pp Fri-Sun.
Like good coffee? Go outside the hotel. There are lots of independents in Cardiff where you'll find what you are looking for, but the hotel predominantly uses autonmatic machines and the coffee is not where the rest of the standard sits, i.e. outstanding."
