"First, walking up to the building I was stunned at how trashy it looked from the outside. Walking in, the decor and furniture looked cheap and overused. Check in was fine, we got to our room and the room was clean, however, each person only got one single pillow, the pull out couch was the most uncomfortable bed ever (wires, bumps, didn’t lay completely flat). The living room furniture was minimal. Just the pullout couch for comfortable seating (for 3, when we had a family of 6. There was a pod coffee maker with no pods/sugar/creamer. This hotel has NO AC! The info in the room speaks of adjusting the thermostat, but there is no thermostat. The outdoor porch has a big slope forward. It is not flat. The biggest thing for us were the lack of pillows, the lack of AC, and our room keys they gave us stopped working (we were given 4). We got locked out of our room the first night and there was no front desk staff available. They close at 8-9pm. We called their “emergency” number and no one answered. We had to go to the restaurant and get someone to help us contact someone. If the restaurant would’ve been closed, we would’ve been locked out of our room all night. Overall, very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this play or stay here again."

"it was one of the best B&B experiences we have ever had, the staff was so wonderful and understanding. the rooms were beautiful, with great views and gorgeously decorated. the lounging area was so cute and cozy. the breakfast arrangements were wonderful. truly felt like we were staying at a friend’s house with the level of hospitality shown to us."

"Breakfast was good. We were not expecting to be part of the deal sobir was a lovely surprised. The hotel also gave us free buspass to travel within Interlaken 🙌 "

"I saw some negative reviews about this place and I have to say I didn't experience any of them really. The staff was welcoming (not overly friendly but certainly not rude), the location is unbeatable, the breakfast buffet was one of the more robust spreads i've seen in a hotel outside the US, and the hotel was spotless. Our room was larger than we expected and very well appointed. I only have two low-lights: 1) There was no AC which meant the rooms can get hot. Most of the year this is no problem but during our stay it wasn't very comfortable. 2) Due to the lack of AC we opened the windows which let in plenty of cool night air. Unfortunately there is a family of cows across the street with bells on that were active all night (cute problem I know). We named the main cow Meribell and although she was awesome, her bells made it hard to sleep without earplugs. Overall i'd definitely stay here again, despite the lack of sleep."

"The breakfast was great, but I was disappointed that the gym was closed. The hotel is very cozy and clean. The view from the room was stunning. It's a 3-4 minute walk to the train station Ost, very convenient."
