"We loved residing next to the rushing Mill river. It was a unique experience and very soothing. We felt like we were living in the country and yet we could take a short stroll to the main street with various shops...each having unique merchandise.This was one of our best locations and accommodations during our year of traveling. The laundry room was extremely helpful. We can't say enough about the welcome, the help and the cottage itself.Our dog, Zoe, loved this place also!"

"We had a fabulous weekend. The cottage was very easy to find, a short walk from the free car park and a stroll to the main street and many pubs, shops and eateries in Burford. The cottage is cosy but spacious for a family, with a well equipped kitchen and three comfortable bedrooms. We ate at the Farmer's Dog, the Bull and the Lamb Inn, all of which were great. "This cottage was beautiful, well equipped with everything we needed. On Main Street steps to all amenities. Parking was at front door, it was very busy while we were there so we were lucky to get the park we did, in saying this we did not need the car because we could walk to everything. Beautiful garden. The parking is tight for large vehicles but we made it work. The cottage is cute with historic charm and some low ceilings, but we’re all over 6’ tall found the charm worth ducking our heads for. Highly recommend the Dolphin House!"

"The room was very comfortable and clean. Lovely big shower. The hotel was very nice and again very clean. Great bar. As you walk in to the reception it is very grand like walking into a beautiful Manor House. Breakfast was very nice with plenty to choose from. The problem I had was it said in the booking email they check in was 2pm. It isn’t it’s 3pm . So be careful."
