"The property is old, and you can tell it has had some upgrades. They need new carpeting, the thing I liked the most was the AC unit. It kept the room nice and cool, I was able to sleep very well. I had my cat with me and she also appeared to be comfortable. The staff was friendly, I was a little nervous because it appeared to be all men, I am a single woman. I will stay at this property again."

"Excellent room. Staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. This is our third visit so far this year, 2024, and the waffle maker has never once worked correctly. I reported it every time and they just post an Out of Service sign on it. It needs to be replaced!! It's that simple. The waffles are the only item I eat for the free breakfast. When it doesn't work it forces me to spend additional money on breakfast at a restaurant. "

"Stayed with my mom and a family Dorian’s friend in the suite last night. It had three queen beds which was awesome. Room was very clean and had no issues with anything in it overall. Breakfast was well stocked and included waffles, eggs and sausage, and biscuits & gravy which were all good. Very impressed with our stay and very glad we were able to stay here."

"Few days ago I paid $210/night plus $50 valet parking in a “fancy” hotel in Indianapolis, what a waste of money. For $63 in American Motor Inn I got the same bed size and comfort and much better sleep. The location is safe, quiet and they have parking. The young man at the reception is kind and friendly. Great customer service. Rock Island is a very beautiful place and in few minutes drive you can visit Davenport, Iowa. We’re definitely recommend this motel and we’re planning on coming back...
