"Absolutely amazing place for families visiting Yosemite! Rush Creek Lodge is beautiful and very conveniently located, about 45 minutes from Yosemite Valley depending on the time of day. The lodge itself has so much to offer. The pool and hot tub are open 24/7, there are plenty of outdoor games and activities for kids, and the huge indoor game room has an incredible selection of games. Our kids absolutely loved it. We stayed in a villa, which was very comfortable and spacious, with an amazing view—especially at sunset. The restaurant was also excellent, with very good breakfast and dinner options. But our favorite part was the atmosphere in the evening. Around sunset, they light fire pits and gas heaters throughout the property, and offer complimentary s’mores for everyone. Sitting outside by the fire, making s’mores as the sun went down was just perfect and made the whole place feel really special. A fantastic base for visiting Yosemite and a wonderful place to come back to after a day in the park. We highly recommend Rush Creek Lodge, especially for families. We would definitely stay here again!"
