Nice affordable clean place if you have a tight budget and want somewhere centrally accessible and you can make small meals to get around to restaurants. The host is nice and helpful, responds to issues quickly. I recommend

I found myself waiting in front of the door with luggages in darkness. The owner never answered the phone. I had to put down all my belongings in the middle of the narrow sidewalk trying to find another place on a phone that barely worked in that area. A nightmare.

NEODPORÚČAM !

Keďže toto zariadenie nemá recepciu, písali sme si s majiteľom cez whatsapp, kde bola komunikácia veľmi dobrá. Čakal nás už pri vchode, kde nám oznámil, že na danej adrese, kde sme si spravili rezerváciu nemôžeme ostať, pretože tam nastala nejaká chyba. Tak nás teda odprevadil do Hostelu X, tam sme zaplatili a išli na izbu odložiť veci. Keď sme prišli z mesta, na izbe bolo cca 15 stupňov Celzia. Hneď sme písali pánovi, ktorý nás tam doviedol, že máme takýto problém a nech to vyriešia. Napísal, že sa o to postará. V noci sme sa budili na to, že nám je zima. Ráno sme opäť písali pánovi, ten povedal, že príde za 15 minút a vyrieši to. Čakali sme ho na izbe, no neprišiel. Opäť sme mu večer napísali, že mame zimu na izbe a on nám napísal, že ho už nemáme otravovať. V popise bolo taktiež napísané, že prerabanie EXTERIÉRU bude len do októbra, no my sme tam mali riadny hluk od rána a to vnútri ! Neodporúčam, strašný prístup, zima, hluk, z prerábanej chodby špina. Jediné pozitívum bola lokalita. Chcela som tu pridať screen chatu, ale pán samozrejme vymazal svoje správy.

If the only thing you need is a bed to sleep, then this is a place for you.. no luxury items.. Leon is very helpful and nice.. The heat is on all day long which is very important for a cold place like Bucharest.. The room is 2 minutes walk from the old town center..

Under construction

The room is on the first floor of an old building that is currently under heavy external renovations. If you plan to stay during the day, you might encounter noise due to the constructions but also watch the workers just outside of your room window. On the good side, room was warm, hot water for shower was available and the location is great. Breakfast, although it’s supposed to be provided, is not served somewhere in this building but in a cafe/restaurant 3 minutes walking distance. Unfortunately, the last day of our stay we decided to get our breakfast and got in that restaurant as instructed, but the manager of the restaurant had no idea. We left embarrassed and confused. Nevertheless if you are on a budget and just want somewhere to sleep for a few days, this place may be an option.

La struttura si trova perfettamente nel centro storico di Bucarest rendendola strategica per qualsiasi movimento e per qualsiasi tipo di serata. Si trova a 15minuti dal parlamento! Purtroppo lo stabile è un po’ fatiscente e la camera davvero ridotta al minimo. Nei tre giorni di soggiorno la camera non è mai stata pulita e Per il cambio di biancheria il proprietario andava sollecitato. Consiglio solo per soggiorni brevi o per chi non è particolarmente fissato con la pulizia.

Everything was ok with some exceptions. The building was on renovation and on my windows was scaffolding ( not like the picture) and noise morning early. Please let know people that that the building is on construction. Otherwise everything was perfect, good location, very close to the tourist zone. Thank you

Great room and close to the Old town

Lovely spacious clean room. The building was undergoing renovation, but this didn't affect the stay. Leon was very helpful and friendly. Excellent location to the Old town which has plenty of bars and restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect place!

Great place. An old building, needing renovation as every place in Bucharest, but you can see that the room was decorated with care. Air condition new, new furniture, new television, good wi-fi. 2minutes walking and you are in the old town. I was really, really happy to find this place in Bucharest. Just one thing to improv next time: maps and brochures of tourism information in place ;)
