The breakfast area turns into a lunch/dinner restaurant and with something ordered can act as a gathering spot as there is not such an area in the lobby. Hotel is within 2 blocks from the Rambla (pictured), a lovely 17 mile walkway along the coast. I got a third floor room with private terrace and terrace shared space with multiple air conditioner units (these are not the highest level terraces pictured on website) but sliding door in my room did open to 3rd floor pool area which had patio with seating.
