Good choice

The staff were really helpful, there was a 24 hour check in and free luggage storage. We had free breakfast as well which was nice. The hotel had a good location that you could walk to from the centre in 20 mins, the only thing was that the room was a bit small, not much space to move and boards between the bunk beds.Good choice overall.

I arrived at the hotel at 23.00 having booked a single room. Upon arrival, I was told that I would be sharing a room with a complete stranger! I had to find another hotel - not easy at that time of night! Nekotel refused to offer any refund. (This review relates to a visit in October 2019).

Not worth the price

The lobby seems ok but once you enter the rooms, they stink! It smells strongly to cigarette and all your belongings will end up smelling like that. Walls and windows are very thin, which makes it very noisy. Not a lot of TV channels and wifi stops working at random times.

clean and comfortable

Clean rooms, friendly staff, comfortable bed. The bathroom had a little bit of sewer smell, but it wasn't that bad. The idea of making an "art" hotel is cute, but in this case its very poorly executed, and the so called "art" is falling off the walls. I feel the rooms could use a brush up, and it would probably not even take that much effort to make them feel more fancy.

Carpets were badly stained but bed linen and towels were clean. Walls had blistered plaster so kept rubbing off onto the floor. Bathroom had toiletries and was clean but smelt a little damp. Right by the station although dodgy area with sirens every 15/20min. My room was right by the stairwell door which kept slamming and keeping me awake. Can’t do much for area as there were 4* hotels also nearby but would have heard the same.

Minimalist accommodations for a low price

Convenient location next to Brussels-Midi station, walking distance to old town. Comfortable bed with private shower. Very low price for Brussels. The carpet in the room was the dirtiest I have ever encountered (ground in dirt and stains). I wouldn't consider walking barefoot in the room. Breakfast was minimal - a croissant and a piece of chocolate bread. Also offered was orange juice, coffee, sliced bread, and one type of sliced cheese.
